Frontal bone: Flat bone that forms the forehead and the upper part of the eye sockets.

 

Parietal bones: Two flat bones on either side of the head.

 

Temporal bones: Two bones below each of the parietal bones.

Occipital bone: Flat bone at the back of the skull.

 

Sphenoid bone: Irregular bone below the frontal bone, forming part of the base of the

skull.

 

Ethmoid bone: irregular bone situated in front of the sphenoid bone and forming part of the nasal cavity.
